Parker Griffith alledgedly has a HUGE skeleton in his closet.

The 5th congressional District is in a heated race right now. We've had a blue dog democrat, Bud Cramer, in office forever and it's time for a more conservative representation. Enter Wayne Parker. Mr. Parker almost beat Mr. Blue Dog himself just a few years ago. You'd think that means that it will be an easy race, but he's got competition.

Wayne Parker's opponent is a Dr. turned State Senator who apparently considers himself another blue dog. In an effort to lure in the conservative vote of North Alabama he claims to be be a liberal who wears conservative clothes. Kind of like a grizzly bear who wears a lamb costume for Halloween.

Much to the surprise of many in the 5th District, apparently Dr. Griffith has a skeleton rattling around in his closet that just busted through the door. Griffith has aired attack ad after attack ad and those choices have finally pulled the lamb costume off the head of the grizzlie.

Seems Dr. Griffith isn't as clean and squeaky wonderful as he'd like us to think. I saw the ad for the first time last night and I'll admit my first reaction was "that can't be true." Call me naive, but I try to look at the postive side of life and not be so caught up in the negative "thug" type politics. I don't believe anybody's negative ad until I see proof. Even if the person running the ad is someone I will likely support.

Well it appears that Dr. Griffith offered up the proof in his own attempt to say it's not true.
